Changing the Study Priority from the Worklist

Introduction

With appropriate permissions, you can change the priority of a study directly from the Worklist page. One example of when to use this functionality is when a routine x-ray reveals potential pathology that requires an increased priority. As a result of this finding, the priority needs to be raised so the x-ray is read as soon as possible.

Steps

  1. With the Worklist open, click to select a study.
  2. Right-click the study to display the context menu.
  3. Select Change Priority and select the preferred priority.

Note:

Priority options are determined by the priority codes set for your site by your System Administrator.

  1. The following prompt displays: Are you sure you want to change the priority of the selected item(s) and refresh the list (selected items may be removed or moved)? Click Yes to change the study priority and refresh the list or click Cancel.

Results

The updated study priority displays for the study in the Worklist's Priority Column.

  • If your site has configured specific colors and fonts to highlight STAT priorities, the study priority displays with those colors and fonts.
