Configuring Reporting

Introduction

You can customize the Reporting settings for the Clinical Reporting Application (CRA) to best meet your needs.

Steps

  1. Modify the following settings as needed.
  2. When you have finished configuring all settings, click Close to apply and save setting changes.

Clinical Reporting Application Settings

Setting

Description

Automatically open:

If enabled, Synapse launches the Clinical Reporting Application each time you open an Advanced Reporting study.

If disabled, you can launch the CRA by clicking the CRA button on the Viewer toolbar.

This setting is disabled by default.

Preview pane open:

If enabled, Synapse automatically displays the CRA report preview pane to be 50% of the CRA window size each time you open the CRA.

Synapse retains this behavior until you disable the default setting.

Note: System Administrators have the ability to select or clear the Preview pane open option for users on a global, role-based, or user level.

This setting is enabled by default.

Results

Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.

Synapse displays the following message that you must take the following action to apply the settings: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
