Instance Selector
Introduction
When there are multiple instances of a measurement, you can use the Instance Selector tool that is available for each measurement within a Measurement control. In addition to viewing all of the instances of a measurement, the Instance Selector provides you with the ability to view additional information and controls for managing instances including:
- The minimum and maximum values for a measurement.
- The average of all values for that measurement.
- The most recently measured or entered value for that measurement.
- Each individual value (measured or manually entered).
- The user name of the person who performed or entered the measurement, or an indication that the value was imported from an external system.
- The date the measurement was performed or entered.
Although multiple measurements can have an enabled Instance Selector, only one Instance Selector can be open at a time. You can only use this tool for one measurement instance at a time. The Instance Selector tool toggles the display of this indicator on and off. If enabled for one instance of a measurement and invoked for a different instance, the enabled link indicators are toggled off.
