Using DICOM Transfer for Studies

Introduction

Use the DICOM Transfer feature to transfer a study to another system.

Prerequisites

You must have the DICOM Transfer privilege to use this feature.

Steps

1. Open the Viewer and select one or more studies.
   
2. Right-click the context menu and select DICOM Transfer. The DICOM Transfer - to Dicom Destination page displays.
3. Ensure that the patient information in the Selected Items pane is correct.
4. Start typing in the Destination field to easily select the preferred destination.
5. Click to select the option button associated with your destination selection.
6. Start typing in the Label field to select a label to group the studies you are transferring.
7. Click Start Transfer. The transfer status displays.

Results

When Synapse completes the transfer, the status changes from Pending to Success.
