Using Edge in IE Mode Settings Check

Introduction

The Edge in IE Mode Settings Check indicator displays in the PowerJacket, Worklist, and Viewer providing the state of the Edge in IE Mode configuration for Synapse on the workstation of the current Windows user. In addition, the icon can be used to open a report detailing the status check.

Note:

  • The Thin Component (see Synapse Workstation) is required for the Edge in IE Mode Settings Check to function.
  • The Edge in IE Mode Settings Check is not available in Chrome or Edge (native mode).
  • The Edge in IE Mode Settings Check only works when running Edge in IE Mode. This means running Edge against a Synapse server that the workstation is configured to access in IE Mode, which the 7.2 client supports only against a Synapse 5.7.24x server.
