Opening Clinical Reporting Application from the Viewer

Introduction

If a study is an Advanced Reporting (AR) procedure, Synapse displays a CRA icon on the Viewer toolbar. When you click the CRA icon, Synapse launches Clinical Reporting Application (CRA) and opens one of the following reports:

  • A default report
  • A list of reports that you can choose from
  • A saved report

See your System Administrator for more information about what studies are configured as AR procedures.

Note:

  • AR studies are not supported and will be disabled for Single Window Mode and ICC WebQueries.
  • When the anonymous mode is set to true in the WebQuery, the CRA is not enabled.

Prerequisites

  • The study must be an AR procedure.
  • You must have AR privileges to lock the AR procedure report.
  • AR must be configured for your system.
  • The study must be in a local datasource.

Steps

  1. Click CRA to open the CRA.
  2. If a default report is not configured for an AR procedure code, Synapse displays a list of available reports. Double-click the appropriate report.

Note:

When you attempt to save an annotation for a locked AR study, or another user has saved an annotation (for that study) since you loaded the AR study, a message displays stating that Synapse did not save the annotation.

Results

Synapse locks the AR procedure report and opens the study with the AR report in a new window. Synapse imports the study information and Protocol Panel measurements into the report.
