Opening Content Manager

Introduction

Synapse provides three ways to open Content Manager: through SWAT, with a URL, or directly from the Worklist.

Opening Content Manager Through SWAT

Steps

  • Navigate to System > Utilities > Content Management.

Opening Content Manager with a URL

Steps

  1. Enter the Synapse server name and /Content/ in a browser window.
    Example: [server_name]/Content/
  2. Enter your user name in the Username text field.
  3. Enter your Synapse password in the Password text field.
  4. Click Log In.

Opening Content Manager from the Worklist

Introduction

Launch Content Manager directly from the Worklist for immediate access to modify the study in question. This option is only available to users with appropriate permissions.

Steps

  1. Right-click the preferred study to display the context menu. You can select a maximum of two studies.
  2. Click to select Open Content Manager. The selected study displays in Content Manager.
  3. Optional: Leave Content Manager open and select another study using the context menu option. Content Manager will display the new study.

Note:

  • If you select one study, Content Manager launches in a split pane view with the selected study open in the lower, left pane.
  • If you select two studies, Content Manager launches in a split pane view with the top pane open to the Content Manager root folder, and each of the studies open in the two lower panes.
  • If you select more than two studies to open from the Worklist, the Open Content Manager option is disabled.
