Working with Measurement Controls

Introduction

In the measurement display menu, you can display or hide measurements in a report; manually edit or enter a measurement; and view prior and current measurements.

Measurements are site configurable. Each group can be configured to display the measurement name, the reported value, and a normal range for the measurement in the sub-columns. See your System Administrator for more information.

You can configure this control to display only the measurements that contain a value. Each Measurement control has a Show All command that displays all measurements regardless of whether the measurement contains a value or not.

Steps

  1. Open a report.
  2. Select the Measurements tab.
  3. Do one of the following:
  4. If you want to do this...

    Choose this option...

Include a measurement in the Report preview.

    • Select Display on Report from the Measurement control menu.

Exclude a measurement in the Report preview.

    • Select Hide on Report from the Measurement control menu.

Manually enter a value for a Measurement control.

    • Position the cursor in the appropriate measurement field and enter a value.
    • When a numeric value is entered manually, it is displayed with the same units and decimal precision as configured for that measurement with Advanced Reporting Configuration Manager.
    • The unit and decimal precision of each measurement within the control reflects the default settings. These defaults can only be configured by FUJIFILM Support.
    • If a Measurement control is configured to include normal ranges and the entered value is outside of the defined normal range, the Measurement control will display the measurement name, current value, and normal values in red text.

Manually overwrite the current Measurement control value.

    • Position the cursor in the field to be changed and enter a new value.
    • If the field already contains a value, that value will be displayed at its maximum precision and will be highlighted with an active text cursor.
    • If you enter a new value, it will overwrite the highlighted value.

Show all measurements or show only those measurements with a measurement value.

    • If the Filter icon is enabled, only measurements and calculations that have a value are shown.
    • If the filter is not enabled and is grayed out, all measurements and calculations for the control are shown.
    • You can toggle the filter on and off.

    View prior and current measurements.

    • The Trending Prior icon is enabled when at least two values, from two different studies, are known.
    • When enabled, click Trends to view a graph containing prior and current measurements.
