Clinical Applications Overview

Synapse supports integration with third party clinical applications. The level of integration varies for each third party application; however the following general rules apply to such integrations:

• When launching a third party application, the same study currently open in Synapse, opens the application.
• Third party applications are opened for images you select.
• Third party applications are closed when you close the study or log out and if you timeout after a long idle period.
• Data can be imported from the third party application into the Synapse reporting system.
