Displaying Records with Composer

Introduction

Use Composer to create a custom document layout in XDS Consumer.

  • The Composer always stays on top.
  • Available grid sizes range from 1x1 to 10x10.
  • XDS Consumer loads the records sequentially.
  • When you drag and drop a record into a grid in Composer, XDS Consumer, display the grid with a green border.
  • If you double-click to 1-up in Composer, XDS Consumer displays the record in the XDS Tile View.
  • Use the scroll bar or mouse wheel to scroll through DICOM images.

Steps

  1. Starting from the record list view, click Composer . XDS Consumer displays Composer.
  2. Drag and drop a record from the record list or the XDS Tile View into Composer.
  3. Do any of the following:

    Do this ...

    Hide Composer and keep the record content.

    Click Hide .

    Display Composer with the record content.

    Right-click the Composer .

    Remove a record.

    Right-click the record in Composer. XDS Consumer removes that record.

    Drag Composer to another location.

    Right-click the Handwheel or anywhere inside Composer and drag to the new location.

    Insert the records in Composer into the XDS Tile View.

    Click the Up Arrow or double-click Composer.

    Insert the records in the XDS Tile View to Composer.

    Click the Down Arrow .

    Add a page to Composer.

    Click the Plus Sign at the bottom of the Composer screen.

    Remove a page from Composer.

    Click the Minus Sign at the bottom of the Composer screen.

    Move to previous page in Composer.

    Click Previous Page at the bottom of the Composer screen.

    Move to the next page in Composer

    Click the Next Page at the bottom of the Composer screen.
