Adding Comparisons from the Series Picker
Introduction
You can select which comparisons Synapse displays in the Viewer from the Series Picker Studylist.
Steps
- Select the check boxes in the Series Picker Studylist that correspond to the studies you want to compare. Studies display in selected order.
- Click Compare
located at the top of
the Series Picker Studylist. Synapse automatically selects a reading
protocol to display your studies in the Viewer. Once compared, studies display in order of date and time. - Optional: Click Compare Off
if you want to remove
the comparisons from the Viewer.
Results
Synapse adds all the selected studies to the Viewer. If the reading protocol cannot display all the selected studies in the Viewer, Synapse automatically creates additional reading protocol steps to display the additional studies.

Synapse displays up to six comparison studies using the default Synapse reading protocols. However, you can drag and drop any series from any study from the Series Picker into the Viewer. |
