Configuring the Loop Reading Protocol Steps Setting
Introduction
You can customize a reading protocol (RP) workflow using the Loop reading protocol steps setting. When enabled, Synapse will loop back to the first RP step after you complete the last reading protocol step. This setting is enabled by default. However, some workflows are more efficient when RP steps end after the last RP step is completed.

User Settings > Reading Protocols > RP Steps
Steps
- Modify the setting as needed.
- Click Close to apply and save setting changes.
Results
Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.
Synapse displays the following message that you must take the following action to apply the settings: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
