Creating Your Default Worklist View

Introduction

Use this feature to designate a specific Worklist as your default view when you open Synapse. Complete the steps below to designate the default Worklist that displays when you log into your home datasource.

  • You can select and designate Worklists in any of the Worklist panels (System, Global, duplicated, or saved QBE Worklists).
  • The following types of Worklists cannot be designated as a default: My History, Collections, and My Favorites.
    • The Worklists that you've added under the My Favorites heading also display in their original locations. To make any one of those Worklists your default view, select it from its original location.
  • If, for any reason, the Worklist you select as your default view becomes disabled or is removed, the All Studies Worklist will display (as the default Worklist view).

Steps

  1. Open the Worklist area of Synapse and determine which Worklist you want to display as your default view.
  2. Right-click to select the Worklist context menu and select Make Default.

Results

  • Until you decide to change it, the selected Worklist is your default view.
  • To identify it as your default Worklist, the Worklist name displays in bold, italic font.

• Click the Show Default Worklist icon on the Viewer Toolbar to launch your default Worklist from the Viewer.
