Saving Presentation State

Introduction

Use the Save Presentation State option to save the window level, rotate, and flip for one or more images in a series so that any user can display this saved presentation state on initial display.

For example, if you change the window level for multiple series in a study and then save the presentation state, Synapse saves the new window level for all changed series in that study.

Note:

  • With the Tools > Apply to All Images option enabled, Synapse applies window level, rotate, and flip to all images in that series.
  • With the Tools > Apply to Selected Images option enabled, Synapse applies window level, rotate, and flip to only the images in the series that you applied a change to.

You can save the presentation state multiple times, but Synapse only displays the last saved presentation state.

The following series cannot be saved with the presentation state:

  • 2D slab thickness
  • Synapse MPR or MIP
  • Synapse Fusion
  • Synapse 3D Console Mode

To use the Save Presentation State option, you must have the Save Image privilege.
