Configuring Custom Shortcut Keys
Introduction
You can customize shortcut keys to provide an easier and quicker method for executing Synapse commands. Use the settings in the Shortcut Key tab to edit predefined shortcut keys or configure a new shortcut key for an existing tool.
Keyboard characters that you cannot reassign display in gray. The customized shortcut key and tool name are in bold; default shortcut keys are not in bold.
Custom shortcut keys must be enabled by your System Administrator. If you need to revert your customized keyboard shortcuts to default, see your System Administrator. For a complete list of current defaults, see Keyboard Shortcuts for the Viewer and Worklist.

- Most keyboard options are supported. However, operators, such as the Ctrl, Shift, and Alt keys cannot be used independently and must be used in combination with a keyboard letter.
- Synapse supports the Mac Cmd and Options.
Note: |
If an OS or browser includes mapped shortcut keys, those mapped shortcut keys might not work as expected in Synapse. |
