Searching Shortcut Keys by Tool Name

Introduction

You can search keyboard characters by tool name to quickly identify the shortcut key for that tool.

Keyboard characters that you cannot reassign display in gray. The customized shortcut key and tool name are in bold; default shortcut keys are not in bold.

User Settings > Shortcut Keys

Steps

  1. Click the Shortcut Key tab to display the Shortcut Keys pane.
    Synapse displays the tools with assigned and unassigned shortcut keys.

    Display all the tools with assigned or unassigned shortcut keys.
    • Click the All tab.
    • Optional: Use the search bar to filter your search results.

    Display a specific tool group with assigned or unassigned shortcut keys.
    • Click the preferred tool group tab.
    • Optional: Use the search bar to filter your search results.
