Setting a Reading Protocol as a Default

Introduction

Synapse uses the default reading protocol as the first reading protocol that is available when you open a matching study. Use the Make Default option to select a default reading protocol.

You can set multiple default reading protocols. The reading protocol that is the best match and has the latest timestamp becomes the default

User Settings > Reading Protocols 

Steps

  1. Select a reading protocol from the RP Directory to use as your default reading protocol.
  2. Right-click the selected reading protocol and select Make Default from the context menu.
  3. Optional: Repeat these steps to create additional default reading protocols.

Results

Synapse sets your selected reading protocol as the default.

Synapse displays the following message that you must take the following action to apply the settings: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
