Using Reset Image State

Introduction

The Reset Image State option reverts the following image properties from all displayed images in a reading protocol step to their original state:

  • Zoom
  • Flip
  • Window level
  • Manual shutter (removes all manual shutters in a study)
  • Pan
  • Rotate
  • Presets
  • DICOM shutter (turns the shutter off for all the images with DICOM shutters in the study)

For example, if you have changed the window level for an image in Reading Protocol step 1 and rotated an image 180 degrees in Reading Protocol step 2, when you reset the image state in Reading Protocol step 1, Synapse only changes the window level of the image to the original state. Synapse does not change the rotated image in Reading Protocol step 2.

Steps

  1. Right-click the image to display a context menu.
  2. Click Tools > Reset Image State.

Results

Synapse reverts the listed image properties for all images in the currently displayed reading protocol step.
