Using the Magnifying Glass

Introduction

You can magnify a part of an image or change the window level within the magnifying glass window without changing the underlying image properties. You can also dynamically change the size of the magnifying glass.

When you close a magnifying glass window, Synapse automatically saves the most recent magnifying glass window size and zoom factor as your default setting.

If you use the Link option , Synapse synchronizes all open and linked magnifying glasses when you pan, zoom, or move a magnifying glass for current and prior studies. However, Synapse does not synchronize window level for linked magnifying glasses. When you click the magnifying glass, Synapse highlights the link icon.

Steps

  1. Place your cursor on the area of interest.
  2. Right-click the image to display a context menu.
