Applying a Preset to an Image

Introduction

When you apply a preset, Synapse applies the preset to all or selected images in the series, depending on which property is enabled: Tools > Apply to All Images or Tools >Apply to Selected Images.

When you apply a preset to an image for a specific modality, Synapse applies defaults to all images or just selected images. For example, when you apply a preset to a CT image, Synapse uses the Apply to All Image option by default. However, when you apply a preset to a CR image, Synapse uses the Apply to Selected Images option by default.

Note:

The image preset option Invert (Auto Padding) is available for MG studies only. Invert (Auto Padding) is not available for slab thickness, 3D, fusion, or MG tomosynthesis.

Steps

  1. Right-click the image to display a context menu.
  2. Select Image Presets.
  3. Choose the preset you want to apply to the image.
  4. Optional: If a preset was assigned a hotkey, press the hotkey ( NumPad 4). If multiple presets were assigned to the same hotkey, the presets will be applied in the order configured on the Image Preset dialog > Order of Presets menu. In addition, Window Level presets are applied first, followed by any associated Fujifilm image processing algorithms.
  5. Optional: To reload the image as acquired, right-click the image to display the context menu and select Image Presets > Display as Acquired.
