Applying a Preset to an Image
Introduction
When you apply a preset, Synapse applies the preset to all or selected images in the series, depending on which property is enabled: Tools > Apply to All Images or Tools >Apply to Selected Images.
When you apply a preset to an image for a specific modality, Synapse applies defaults to all images or just selected images. For example, when you apply a preset to a CT image, Synapse uses the Apply to All Image option by default. However, when you apply a preset to a CR image, Synapse uses the Apply to Selected Images option by default.

The image preset option Invert (Auto Padding) is available for MG studies only. Invert (Auto Padding) is not available for slab thickness, 3D, fusion, or MG tomosynthesis. |
Steps
- Right-click the image to display a context menu.
- Select Image Presets.
- Choose the preset you want to apply to the image.
- Optional: If a preset was assigned a hotkey, press the hotkey ( NumPad 4). If multiple presets were assigned to the same hotkey, the presets will be applied in the order configured on the Image Preset dialog > Order of Presets menu. In addition, Window Level presets are applied first, followed by any associated Fujifilm image processing algorithms.
- Optional: To reload the image as acquired, right-click the image to display the context menu and select Image Presets > Display as Acquired.
Results
Synapse applies the selected preset to the image.
