Changing the Number of Images in a Viewport
Introduction
After opening a study, you can select the number of images within a series to concurrently display in a viewport. The number of images in a viewport is called the upcount.
Steps
- Select the viewport that you want to change the upcount for.
- Do one of the following:
- Press and hold the CTRL key.
- Roll the mouse wheel up (forward) to decrease the upcount or roll the mouse down (back) to increase the upcount.
- Synapse tries to display all the images within the selected viewport. However, if a series contains about one hundred images, Synapse might create additional pages to display the remaining images.
- If one or more images is 2 mega pixels or larger, the maximum number of images that Synapse can display in the overview tile format is six. Synapse might create additional pages to display the remaining images.
- Right-click the image to display a context menu.
- Select Display Formats > Tile Formats > Overview.
- Optional: Click Next Page in the viewport to display additional images if all the images do not fit in the viewport.
- Optional: Right-click an image to display a specialized context menu such as Export.
- Optional: Right-click the image and select Clear View to clear the viewport of an image or a series.
