Tile Format and Upcount Overview

After you select a study, you can change the number of images Synapse displays in a viewport with the Tile Formats option. The number of images in a viewport is called the upcount. For example, you can have 1-up, 2-up, and 4-up counts. If all the images in a series do not fit in the chosen upcount, you can scroll through the images.

The Auto tile option displays as many images as possible for a reasonable size for diagnosis. Synapse determines the image dimensions that best fit the viewport size.

In Monitor 1, Viewport 2 has an upcount of 4 for Series 2. Series 2 contains nine images. Images 1 through 4 display in Viewport 2, and you can scroll using your mouse wheel to see Images 5 through 9.
