Use the following settings to configure multiframe images and series to automatically play and loop during scroll.

Setting

Description

Auto-play

The Auto-play setting has the following options:

  • Off: Default setting.
  • On: Synapse automatically plays cine when you open a study with multiframe images. If a study has one of the multiframe viewport image types listed above, all viewports can auto-play simultaneously. If the study has multiframe DICOM data of another type, such as BT, RF, or NM, then only the first viewport can auto-play since simultaneous playback is only supported for a multiframe viewport. Note: Auto-play does not occur for All Images series.
  • On cache complete (requires Hybrid Mode) : If you select this option and Hybrid Mode is enabled, the Viewer delays auto-play (cine start) until the image has downloaded.

Loop during scroll

Use this option to control looping while you scroll in a multiframe viewport, allowing you to scroll through to the edge of a loop. See Using Looping During Scroll.

This setting is disabled by default.
