Using Looping During Scroll

Introduction

The Loop during scroll feature allows you to control looping while you scroll in a multiframe viewport, and enables you to analyze the motion of an image by scrolling through the edge of a loop. This feature is available for a multiframe series only.

Details

Enable this feature by selecting the Loop during scroll setting found in the Image Display Settings area of your user settings. See Configuring Cine Settings. By default, this setting is disabled.

When enabled, the multiframe viewport will move back to the first frame when you reach the last frame as you scroll forward (example: scrolling from frame 1 to frame 56) and will move back to the last frame when you reach the first frame as you scroll backward (example: scrolling from frame 56 to frame 1).

All forms of scrolling are supported:

  • Mouse wheel scrolling
  • Page up and page down keyboard buttons
  • Up and down arrow keyboard buttons
  • MMF
  • All three dynamic scrolling types (Dynamic Scroll-Rapid, Dynamic Scroll-Precision, and Dynamic Scroll-Standard)

Note:

The multiframe viewport disables MMF when the viewport is in tile mode.

Additional Information

  • Cine is not affected by the Loop during scroll feature, whether or not the setting is enabled.
  • The multiframe viewport scrolling behavior is independent of the current loop and oscillate options found on the Cine toolbar.
  • Looping during scroll functionality is available to all users.
  • This feature applies to images with the following SOP classes:
    • Angiographic Image Storage
    • Ultrasound Multiframe Image Storage
    • Multiframe Grayscale Byte Secondary Capture Image Storage
    • Multiframe True Color Secondary Capture Image Storage
