Importing Reading Protocols

Introduction

The Import option allows you to use the same reading protocols at multiple facilities. You can import the following types of reading protocols:

  • Reading protocols created in Synapse 5.1 and above can be imported into Synapse 4.4.1 and above.
    • Exception: Synapse 5.1 and above MG Tomosynthesis reading protocols cannot be imported into Synapse 4.4 and above. Synapse 4.4 and above do not support MG Tomosynthesis.
  • Reading protocols created in Synapse 4.4 and above can be imported into Synapse 5.1 and above.

Use an XML file to import reading protocols. If you are importing multiple XML files at one time, all of the XML files must be contained in a zip file.
