Resetting Your Password
Introduction
Synapse users who log directly into the application and do not rely on Windows authentication have the option to reset their Synapse password.
Steps
- In the Synapse Log In dialog box, click Forgot password. The Forgot Password dialog box displays.
- Enter your Username in the text box and click Rest Password. Synapse displays a message that an email has been sent to your email account.
- Open the reset email and click Reset Password. A Reset password dialog box displays.
- Type your new password into the New Password text box.
- Type your new password again into the Confirm Password text box.
- Click Change Password. The log in dialog box displays.
- Enter your user name and new password to log into Synapse.
