Switching Series in a Single Viewport

Introduction

You can switch series in a single viewport without changing the series displayed in other viewports. When you switch a series in a viewport, the first, previous, next, and last series is based on the order of the series in the Series Picker.

Steps

  1. Right-click the image to display a context menu.
  2. Select Layout Navigation.
  3. Do any of the following:

    If you want to do this...

    Choose this option...

    Display the next series in a study.

    Select Next Series.

    Display the previous series in a study.

    Select Previous Series.

    Remove the series from the viewport.

    Select Clear View.

  4. Select Layout Navigation > Shift Series Options to display a submenu containing the options described in the table below.
  5. Do any of the following:

    Choose this option...

    Move to the first series in a study in a single viewport.

    Select Layout Navigation > Shift Series Options > First Series.

    Move to the last series in a study in a single viewport.

    Select Layout Navigation > Shift Series Options > Last Series.

    Move to the previous series in a study in a single viewport.

    Select Previous Series.

    Move to the next series in a study in a single viewport .

    Select Next Series.

    Move to the next page of series in a study for all studies currently being displayed in the viewer.

    Select Layout Navigation > Shift Series Options > Shift Next Page.

    Shift the entire layout forward by one series.

    Select Layout Navigation > Shift Series Options > Shift Next Series.

    Move to the previous page of series in a study for all studies currently being displayed in the viewer.

    Select Layout Navigation > Shift Series Options > Shift Prev Page.

    Shift the entire layout backward by one series.

    Select Shift Prev Series.
