Manipulating Annotations
Introduction
Synapse allows you to:
- Change the color and size of annotations. See Configuring Overlay Settings.
- Determine which measurements display when you add an annotation to an image. See Configuring Annotations Settings.
- Copy annotations between views that display the same image (same SOP instance UID).
- You can modify 2D annotations created on Synapse 4.x (except for spine labels).
- When you modify either a 7.x or 4.x annotation and you apply Save Study Annotations, Synapse converts all 4.x 2D annotations to 7.x annotations for the current and prior studies.
- After the conversion, Synapse 4.x no longer displays the annotations except through the GSPS icon.
Once you have created an annotation, you can move or resize it, change the measurement units, or delete it. When you select an existing annotation, white squares display to identify the annotation in the image.
Synapse provides different options for editing annotations. For example, to move or resize an annotation, you can click and drag the white squares.
