Using Zoom

Introduction

The Zoom feature changes the magnification of an image. Synapse bases the zoom center where you invoke the zoom tool.

Zoom to Fit is the default zoom factor.

Note:

  • Synapse only supports browser zoom set at 100 percent.
  • If the browser zoom factor is not 100%, True Size is not available and images might be blurred. Ensure that your browser and your operating system (OS) zoom factors are both set to 100%. See Ensuring the Browser and OS Zoom Factors are 100 Percent .
  • Synapse uses the zoom center based on image justification when you use the SHIFT key and use the mouse wheel to zoom. If the image justification is left, left justification is maintained. See Changing Image Justification.

Steps

  1. Right-click the image to display a context menu.
  2. Click Zoom.
  3. Move the mouse pointer to the point of interest.
  4. While pressing the left-mouse button, move the mouse forward or backward to change the magnification.
